William Christensen, 93, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Retama Manor Nursing Home in Harlingen.
Bill enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1938 and retired as a Master Sergeant in 1959. He traveled the world and loved to share his stories. Throughout all of his travels, his heart belonged to the place of his birth, Racine, WI.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene in 1984, brothers: “Bunny”, Bob, Anker, Kenny; and special friend, Lois Lemieux in 2005. He is survived by Arlene’s daughter, Lynn Andersen, niece, Karin Hansen, sister-in-law, Helen Christensen and other relatives and friends.
