William "Bill" R. Sandell

William Robert “Bill” Sandell passed from this life November 28, 2022 at eighty-four years of age. Bill was born to the late Elmer and Susie Sandell in Littleton, Colorado and was one of nine children.

He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserves from April 18, 1955 to April 17, 1963.

Bill was an active member of Freemasons, Shriners, and was on the Board of Shriners Children’s Hospital in Houston. He served as State Potentate in 2004.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jim; granddaughter, Christina; his parents, Elmer and Susie Sandell; a brother and three sisters.

Left to treasure Bill’s memory is his wife, Patricia; his children, John Sandell, Bonnie Fisher, Dawn Sandell (Carl Baer), Mindy Fisher, Terry Sandell (Christy), and Robert Sandell (Carol Nobile). He is also survived by several grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He will also be dearly missed by his cat Tia Tia.

Bill had a very strong work ethic and carried that to the end, working hard until the day he passed.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home.
