William H. Griggs, 77, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.
William was born November 9, 1940 in Memphis, TN to Arnold F. and Marie Griggs. He moved to Harlingen in 1992 where he resided at several mobile home parks in the area, Golden Palms Retirement Center and Retama Manor.
He is survived by his caretakers, Luisa Garcia, Sandra Delaunay and Lydia Gonzales.
Visitation hour will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the funeral home.
Interment will be held at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission, TX, 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 5, 2018.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
