Tommy Fee
SAN BENITO, TX:
William Thomas “Tommy” Fee, Jr., 45, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at his residence after a sudden illness. Tommy was born on February 28, 1962 in San Diego, CA to William and Ethel Fee, who preceded him in death. He graduated from Sinton High School in Sinton, TX and from Corpus Christi State University of Corpus Christi, Texas with a Bachelor’s Degree of Music Education. Tommy was the band director at San Benito High School and had also been a band director at Harlingen South High School, Corpus Christ Ray High and Sinton High School. He was an Elder at the First Presbyterian Church in Harlingen and served on the committee for evangelism. Tommy was ham radio operator whose call handle was KD5 PDL and enjoyed woodworking, Community Theater and Community Brass of San Benito.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Donna Fee of San Benito; children, Jimmy (Patricia) Barnett of Corpus Christi, Erin (Isai) Espinoza of San Benito, Eric Barnett of Victoria, and Paul Barnett of San Benito; granddaughter, Emily Espinoza; sister, Barbara Fee of Austin, TX; cousins, John Hensarling of Greenwood, LA and Mike Hensarling of Hook, TX; and close friends, Albert and Becky Salazar and David and Laura Vickers.
A celebration of Tommy’s life will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2007, 10 a.m., at the First Presbyterian Church in Harlingen. Inurnment will follow in Poth, Texas at 4p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Cemetery.
