William Booth, Jr., 65, entered into rest on Saturday at his residence in Harlingen.
William was born on January 14, 1943 in McKeesport, PA to William and Helen Booth, Jr. He proudly serves his country in the United Stated Air Force during the Vietnam War where he received the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Air Force Longevity Service Award. William was a salesman for 33 years with the Sears Department Store.
He was preceded in death by his father William Booth, Sr. and step-father Earl Carpenter.
William is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Matilde Booth, son William Lee Booth, daughter Jennifer Zwolinski, his mother Helen Booth, and brother Danny Booth.
Visitation will be held today, March 4, 2008 from 12:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Buck Ashcraft Chapel with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 pm. with Rev. David Mann officiating. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission, TX with full military honors under the auspices of the American Legion Post 205 and V.F.W. Post 2410.
