BROWNSVILLE, TX. - William F. Bannert, 86, passed away at his home in Brownsville, TX on May 17, 2014.
William F. Bannert, a long time resident of Brownsville and owner of Bannert Equipment for many years, was born on May 4th, 1928 to Adolph and Helene Bannert.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife of 61 years Colleen; his two brothers Robert and Danny; his two brother-in-laws, Roger Williams and Vernon Allen; his sister-in-law Mary Lou Bannert and a granddaughter Tanya Bannert.
He is survived by his second wife Guadalupe Bannert; his two sons Johnny (Julie) Bannert, Ronnie Bannert; his grandchildren Adam, Brandon, Joshua Neece and Sierra Bannert; his brothers John (Donna) Bannert, Adolph Bannert; his sisters Helen Allen, Elenore (Jim) Dulaney and Josaphine Williams; his sister-in-laws Linda Bannert and Joyce Bannert and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Jorge (Marcela) Chavez; his niece Marcela (Edmundo) Mejia; his nephew George E. Chavez and several grand nieces and nephews.
