Wayne W. Emanuel, 78, passed away on February 24, 2010 at local nursing home. Wayne was born June 2, 1931 in Boone County, IL to Edward and Mildred Emanuel. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in San Benito, Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere, IL, Jaycees, Moose, Elks, and Lions Club. Wayne enjoyed boating and working for service clubs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mildred Emanuel.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Katherine A. Emanuel; children, Karen Sue (Stephen) Benjamin and James T. (Sue) Emanuel; grandchildren, Jeff (Abbi) Utecht and Michelle (Utecht) Breaux; and two great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church in San Benito on March 18, 2010 at 2 p.m.
