Virginia Mae Schulte

San Benito:
Virginia Mae Schulte, 90, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at her residence. Virginia was born August 2, 1921 to Bruce and Emma Miller in Kansas City, MO.
Virginia and her husband, Hank, whom preceded her in death owned and operated the Donie Chair Company for over forty years.  They moved the company to Brownsville, TX in 1973.
Virginia was a member of the Rainbow Girls Society in Kansas City, MO and a volunteer with the Gift Shop at the Marine Military Academy in Harlingen, TX.  She and her husband were longtime contributors to the Marine Military Academy and were recognized by being inducted as an H.M. Fellow at the Academy.
Virginia was the epitome of a perfect grandmother.    She also was close to the Sisters at the Incarnate Word Academy in Brownsville.
Visitation hours will be held from 12 PM to 9 PM, Tuesday, November 15, 2011 with a Rosary service being held at 7 PM at the funeral home.
A Funeral Mass will be held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Harlingen, 10 AM, Wednesday, November 16, 2011 with Msgr. Pedro Briseno officiating.  Burial will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations may be made the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 412 S. C St., Harlingen, TX 78550.
