San Benito, TX: Virginia Maria Gamboa, 74, passed away surrounded by her loving family at her home on September 29, 2011 in San Benito, TX.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jose Lino Meza; and her brother, Alberto Meza.
Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Carlos Gamboa, Sr.; her children, Janie (Juan) Garza, Jose (Maricruz) Gamboa, Carlos (Norma) Gamboa, Jr., Guillermo (Melisa) Gamboa, Rosalba Gamboa, Norma L. Gamboa, and Eddie (Liz) Gamboa; 25 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; her mother, Rafaela O. Meza; her siblings, Tiburcio (Maria) Meza, Marcelina (Luis) Mendez, Donaciano (Rosario) Meza, Concepcion (Tomas) Nunez, and Rafael (Juana) Meza.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 3, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral precession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 9:30 A.M. for a 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Isaac Erondu as celebrant. Entombment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park Mausoleum in San Benito.
Pallbearers will be Ricardo Garza, Jose Lino Gamboa, Angel D. Gamboa, Salvador I. Hernandez, Jr., Wille Gamboa, and Carlos E. Gamboa.
