Tommy "Tal" A. Lockhart
August 11, 1981 — October 24, 2017
Tommy (Tal) Lockhart lost his hard fought battle with cancer on October 24, 2017. He passed peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends.
Tommy was born on August 11, 1981 in Harlingen, Texas. Tommy was a great husband, step-father, son, brother and uncle who had a heart of gold. He served in the Navy from 2008-2012. After returning from deployment, he went on to receive his Associate’s Degree in Wind Technology. At the time of his passing, he was employed as a Commercial Truck Driver. Tommy was an avid fisherman and throughout his lifetime caught numerous blue marlin. He loved everything about it and in his last days, his driving force was to be able to get back on the water.
Tommy is preceded in death by his mom, Elaine Lockhart, who passed in November 2016. Tommy and Elaine shared a very special mother/son bond and are surely celebrating their eternal reunion.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Anderson-Lockhart, step-daughter, Kelsi Handley, father, Tom Lockhart, sister, Leslie Lockhart-Moody and his nephews, Fisher and Hagan Hollon. He also left behind his beloved fur-babies, Rebel, Maddi, Kona and Tilley.
