Tomasa Villarreal Silva, 92, went with the Lord on January 14, 2009 at Valley Baptist Medical Center. She was a long time native of San Benito, born October 29, 1916 to Graciano Perez Villarreal and Dolores Reyes Villarreal. She was a member of Saint Benedict Catholic Church. Beloved wife, mother and sister to her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, David Torres Silva; parents, Graciano Perez Villarreal and mother Dolores Reyes Villarreal; brothers and sisters, Angelita V. Ybarra, Herlinda V. Galvan, Graciano R. Villarreal, Emilio R. Villarreal, Ester V. Rubio, Ernestina V. Escobedo. She is survived by two sisters, Josefina Villarreal and Consuelo V. Amaya, daughters and sons, David V. Silva (Consuelo), Danny V. Silva (Olga), Delia S. Gonzalez (Reynaldo), Dionicio V. Silva (Maria Elena), Delfina S. Rodriguez (Victor), Dimas V. Silva, and Diego V. Silva all from San Benito, and Dilia Silva (Andres) of Harlingen, and Diana S. Benavidez (Romeo) from Holland, Michigan. She is also survived by twenty-nine (29) grandchildren and forty five (45) great- grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation and rosary will be held on Friday January 16, 2009 from 1pm to 9pm with a rosary at 7pm at San Benito Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Benedict Catholic Church at 1pm on Saturday January 17, 2009. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Dionicio M. Silva, Doel M. Silva, Reynaldo S. Gonzalez Jr, Mark James D. Silva, Daniel Dimas Silva, Diego Silva Jr. Honorary pallbearers, Maria Del Carmen S. Lopez, Cecilia P. Paz, Monica Marie B. Jasso. Arrangements are under the direction of San Benito Funeral Home.
