Dallas, TX –Tomas Tibaldo Longoria, 90 entered into internal rest on Friday, the 23rd of December 2016. Born on the 8th of June 1926 in Brownsville,Texas to his parents Tomas Longoria & Micaela Cano.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a veteran of WWII. He retired from firestone after 35 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Serafina G. Longoria, his parents Tomas and Micaela Longoria,one brother and one sister.
Survivors include his children Martina L. (Jose Alberto) Flores,Tomas T.( Maria) Longoria Jr., Lila L. (Santiago) Salguero, Gloria L.(Sergio) Recio, and Mercedes I. Ortiz. His grandchildren Jose A., Juan A, Jaime A Flores ,Martin X. , Mike, Lila S, and Mark Vasquez, Rose Ortiz, Jose T., Celeste, And Tomas T Longoria III, Yesica S. Martinez, Santiago Salguero Jr., Julio J Coronado IV and Julissa C. Revuelta. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters and 6 brothers.
Pallbearers will be Juan A. Flores, Santiago Salguero Jr., Santiago Salguero, Daniel Martinez,and Tomas T. Longoria III.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, the 27th of December 2016, beginning at 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel, 1400 West Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday , the 28th of December 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at St Cecilia Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Buena Vista Cemetery.
