Tina Burton Hamper

Tina Mary Burton Hamper, 56, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Sunshine Haven Hospice in Olmito, Texas.
Tina was born and raised in Weslaco. Her parents were Julian and Dotti Burton who both preceded her in death. She graduated from Weslaco High School in 1972 and then joined her mother to own and operate the Burton School of Dance also in Weslaco. She recently had become a resident of Harlingen.
Tina is survived by a son, Louis Julian Hamper of Venezuela; sisters, Darla Burton of Harlingen and Bonnie Whitley of Colorado Springs, CO; nieces, Courtney Mitchell (Shane) and Sherman and Casey Damen (Jason) of Austin, Texas; grand nieces, Whitley Mitchell and Charley Mitchell of Sherman, Texas.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Zachery Houston Hamper.
Memorial services will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 17, 2010 with Rev. David Mann officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations may be made to Sunshine Haven, P.O. Box 4478, Brownsville, Texas 78523.
