Thomas G. Walker
March 27, 1951 — August 30, 2017
Tom Walker, a loving husband and father, has gone to be with our Heavenly Father on August 30, 2017. Tom was born on March 27, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to Bernard & Betty Walker. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Bernard & Elizabeth “Betty” Walker, and daughter Shannon Pinero. Left to cherish his memory is wife, Elizabeth Lane Walker, son Shawn Walker, his brother Mike (Trish) Walker, Stepchildren-Latisha (Paul) Young and Lancer Lane (Brent Kirby). Survived by five grandchildren: Billy (Mallory) Walker, Mark White, Edward (Allyssa) Pinero, Courtney Young, Luke Walker, Matthew Walker and four Great Grandchildren: Liam, Claire, Noah, and Daniel Walker.
Tom Served in the U.S. Army from 1979 to 1988 as a radio operator and worked as a machinist for Southern Pacific Railroad. He was a member of Baptist Temple of San Benito where he also served as a Deacon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m . Funeral services will 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the San Benito Funeral Home, 1400 West U. S. Highway 77, San Benito, Texas.
