Theresa (Terry) Nagy Wadkins

Terry Wadkins was born on May 11, 1938 to Alex Nagy and Hazel Soester.  She passed away at her residence on Monday, February 8, 2021.

Terry is survived by a son Charles (Shaun); daughter Bettye Hilton (Pascal); three grandsons Wayne Ashley (Amanda), Clinton Charles (Mercedes) and Spencer William (Kylie) as well as her step grandchildren Jacob Hilton (Barbara) and Tori Hilton.  Her great granddaughters are Maren Mae and Millie Jo Wadkins, Madelynn Lu Wadkins as well as step great grandchildren Aurora and Scarlett Hall, Jadzia Hilton and Arya Bishop.

Terry was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles William Wadkins on May 28, 2017.

Terry worked with Rio Paving Company for many years, then she was the Vice-President Comptroller of Raymondville Bank of Texas and she worked for Rollie Koppel and the Koppel Foundation for 38 years until her retirement in May 2019.

The family would like to thank Companion Care Sitters and Kindred Hospice for helping this last year and a half.

There will be a private graveside service on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
