Terrence Michael Doyle

Terrence Michael Doyle has joined his Heavenly Father and reunited with his parents. He passed away peacefully in his home in Harlingen, TX on March 16, 2022 after a long battle with Parkinson's.

Terry was born the 31st of March 1949, in Chicago, Ill to Richard Joseph Doyle and Virginia Bushelle Doyle. He lived in Chicago until the early 1980s, when he moved his family to Harlingen, Texas.

Terry had a love of all things Irish, hot coffee, classic rock, and a Whataburger w/cheese! His biggest passions were muscle cars, of which he restored several, and Tae Kwon Do, in which he was a 1st Dan Black Belt and instructor. He always went out of his way to help those in need. It was not uncommon for him to pull over anytime he saw someone broken down on the side of the road and offer help.

He was a loving father whose spirit, wit, ability to tell a tale, and love of all things slightly indecorous will continue with his children and grandchildren.

Terry is survived by six children, Brendan and Caelie Doyle, Alison and William Herrington, Leslie and Evan Mallory, Ian and Aruza Doyle, Clinton and Jacqulyn Doyle, Maureen Doyle and his grandchildren Aidan, Olivia, Elliot, Sawyer, Lochlainn, Conner, and Lincoln. He is also survived by Socorro Doyle, Isabel Doyle, his brother Richard “Dick” Doyle, and sister Pat Janiak.
