Sylvia Roy, age 56, passed away Monday, July 14, 2008 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. Sylvia was born July 21, 1951 in Dothan, Alabama to Elna and Nick Aaron. She resided most of her life in Florida and Texas. Sylvia was a retired business owner and enjoyed fishing, snorkeling and cooking.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Brennan; daughter, Dusti (Pete) Luna; sister, Judy Enfinger; brother, Gary (Tanya) Mitchell; grandchildren Austin and Cheyenne Luna.
Visitation will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home in Harlingen on Friday, July 18, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The funeral procession will depart at noon for a funeral service at the Port Isabel City Cemetery with Rev. David Mann, officiating.
Pallbearers will be Pete Luna, Gary Mitchell, Brennan Pierce, Steve Quintana and Jim Lawson. Honorary pallbearer will be Rick Contos.
