Suzanne Louise Brinster, 80, passed away on December 15, 2014 in Harlingen, Texas.
She was born January 16, 1934 in Lawrence, Massachusetts to Harry and Marguerite Hromada.
Suzanne was an enthusiastic volunteer at the Valley Baptist Hospital for many years, enjoying the friendship of her co-volunteers and helping the visitors navigate their way through the hospital.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Brinster in 1997 and her parents along with her sister.
She is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Kim Brinster (Janet Layard-Liesching) of Waiheke Island, New Zealand, Beth (John) Fuqua of Harlingen, as well as nephews and nieces.
The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the excellent and kind care received at the Spear Home. Also we would like to thank the staff of Gentiva.
Suzanne was a faithful supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In lieu of flowers, she has requested donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
A private ceremony with be held at a later time with the family.
