Stephen Allen Anderson, born March 22, 1947 and was called to be with the Lord on December 25th.  He was 67 years old.
He was the son of M.B. (Andy) Anderson (+) and Blanche Gordon (+), also preceding him in death are his stepdad; Tom Gordon, Brother Harry, Ronald Bowen brother-in-law and aunts: Orpha Young and Stella Gilmore.
Steve was an avid fisherman for many years of his life. He loved reading and admiring exotic cars. His passion was his cats and dogs.
He worked at Sechrist Hall and Wickes Lumber for numerous years.
Survivors include his best friend, Rogelio Valdez; son Kevin (Annie) Anderson of Richwood, TX; and 2 grandchildren, Natalie and Victoria; sister, Jean (Ronald) Bowen of San Antonio; brother Jerry (Tootsie) Anderson; ex-wife Linda Anderson; and numerous nephews and nieces: Rona Cayton, David and Dan Bowen, Mark and Hal Anderson.
He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, especially by his doggies Spud and Buddy and kitties Dorothy, Happy, Samantha and Morris.
Family will have a celebration of life service at the residence (5116 Grande Circle, Harlingen) on Tuesday Dec. 30th from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Harlingen Humane Society and K9 rescue.
A special thanks to the ICU and Emergency units at VBMC, Golden Palms Rehabilitative Services for the wonderful care he received.  Thanks also to Dr. Movva, his PCP. Thanks to Dr. Seudeal for being so thoughtful, helpful and having wonderful bedside manners in and out of the hospital; most especially when explaining all procedures.  We also would to thank his family and friends for their prayers.
