Simon Ramirez

Simon Ramirez,81, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2025, in San Benito, Texas. He was born on September 17, 1943, in Edinburg, Texas, to Higino and Severa Ramirez.

Throughout his life, Simon held a Commercial Driver's License and worked as a truck driver. He was also a skilled horse trainer, drummer, bass player, and cowboy, known for his ability to break horses. In his leisure time, Simon found joy in fishing.

Simon was preceded in death by his son, Sgt. Christopher Ramirez; his daughter, Corina Rangel; and his parents, Higino and Severa Ramirez. He is survived by his children, Tony Ramirez, Ronnie Ramirez, Simon Ramirez Jr., Eugene Ramirez, Denis Ramirez, Rene Ramirez, Miguel Angel Ramirez, Sergio Omar Ramirez, Marco Alberto Ramirez, and Sandra Yvonne Ramirez. He is also lovingly remembered by 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and his brother, Jonny Ramirez.

A beloved father and brother, Simon was cared for by Rose Marie, Sandra Yvonne, and Marco Alberto. He leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories that will be remembered by all who knew him.
