Shelton S. Tucker

Cedar Park, TX:
Shelton Scott Tucker, 55, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at his residence after a short illness.
Shelton was born on November 26, 1958 in Galveston, TX to John and Joyce Tucker.  He was an AAU State swimmer for many years with the” Butterfly” stroke being his favorite. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harlingen where he was baptized as a Christian by Dr. John McBain in 1965.
Shelton graduated from Harlingen High School in 1976 and then attended the Tennessee School of Arts/Computer Sciences.  He has worked and lived in Austin since.  Shelton loved his family and loved the Lord.
He is survived by his mother and father, Joyce Davis Tucker and Dr. John R. Tucker; sister, Jantha Dianne Tucker; and brothers, John Madsen “Tut” Tucker and Davis Sean Tucker.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. A.J. Tucker and Helen & R.C. Davis.
Funeral services will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, 11:00 AM, Friday, December 13, 2013 with the Rev. Joe Perez officiating for close friends and family.  Private burial will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
The family is grateful to all those sharing in their sorrow and that he will be missed by all.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice.
