Santos "Cochise" Reyna

Santos “Cochise” Reyna, 62, passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, June 21, 2020.  He was born to Bernardo Reyna and Santos Saldana Reyna on April 2, 1958 in San Benito, Texas.

Santos enjoyed fishing, watching westerns on television, collecting coins, and investing in stocks.  He loved talking about cars, like his Pontiac Firebird, and listening to records with his grandson Isaiah.  Santos was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in San Benito.

His father, Bernardo Reyna, and brothers, Arnold and Lalo Reyna, preceded Santos in death.

Left to treasure Santos’ love and memory is his wife of 42 years, Flora Reyna; his children, Veronica (Abraham) Cano and Rick Reyna; grandchildren, Isaiah, Julissa, and Dylan; his mother, Santos Saldana Reyna; brothers, Beto (Denise) Reyna, Jose (Marylou) Reyna; and sister, Victoria Cruz.

Santos’ family will receive relatives and friends at San Benito Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, June 23, 2020.  A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 PM on Tuesday evening.  Funeral services for Santos will conclude on Tuesday evening.
