Salvador Mercado, Jr.

Salvador Mercado Jr., 56, entered into eternal life on Sunday, March 13, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cristina Meza Mercado, his grandmother, Gumercinda Galvan Meza, and his grandfather, José C. Meza.

Left to cherish his memory is his fiancée, Belinda Guerra; daughter, Ashley (Isaac De La Garza) Mercado; his sons, José Cruz Mercado (Gabriela), Salvador Mercado III, Alejandro Daniel Mercado; his granddaughters, Maddison Grace Mercado and Camila Sofia Mercado; his father; Salvador Mercado, Sr.; his sisters, Marianna (Tomás) Izzaguirre, Leticia (Santos) Davila, Rosalinda Mercado, María Irene Mercado (José Trejo).

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 and Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2022 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
