Salvador Fernandez, 88, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 at his home in Primera, TX.
Salvador was born August 8, 1927 in San Benito, TX to Manuel and Ramona (Gamboa) Fernandez. He married Amparo Moreno Fernandez. Salvador was truck driver and was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his children Fortis Fernandez (Elsa), Rosario Fernandez (David) , Teresita Fernandez and Salvador Fernandez, Jr. (Diana); sister, Concepcion Alfaro; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Salvador was preceded in death by his wife Amparo M. Fernandez.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission, TX.
