Morris Poston, 71, passed away February 19, 2015 in Harlingen, Texas.
Morris was born August 9, 1943 in Dallas, Texas to Paul Morris and Frances Minor Nevil Poston. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1961 to 1964, and in the elevator industry for 50 years. Morris had a deep and guiding faith in the Lord, which he loved to share with those around him.
Morris is survived by his children, Steven Poston, Leslie Atencio and spouse Eric, and Darin Poston and spouse Noemi; grandchildren, Alex, Abby and Hattie Poston, Kristen and Eli Atencio, and Galileah, Noah and Elishava Poston; brother James Poston and spouse Mabel; brother-in-law, Doyle Cranford; and dear friend, Debra Carrigan.
He was preceded in death by parents, Paul Morris Poston and Frances Poston; and sister, Paula Cranford.
Graveside services will be held Monday, February 23, 2015, 1:00 PM, at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, TX.
The family wishes to thank the entire elevator community, who loved and appreciated Dad. We especially want to thank Debra Carrigan for her selfless and devoted care for Dad in the final season of his life. Greater love has no one than this: that one lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13.
