Rudolph (Rudy) Joseph Klement chose to make his transition on Tuesday, July 15, 2008.
Rudy was born in Richmond, California on August 4, 1929 and raised in Napa Valley. After graduating from U.C. Davis he worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Hawaii and then returned to California as Administrator at Calistoga Convalescent Hospital.
In 1971 he moved to Nevada and on retirement in 1997 he moved the “Rio Grande Valley” of South Texas.
Rudy is survived by his wife, Jennifer and children from a previous marriage, Terri and Greg.
Graveside services only will be held the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Mission, Texas, 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 21, 2008 with military honors under the auspices of American Legion Post 205.
The family request that those desiring to do so, may make memorial donations to the Calistoga High School All Alumni Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 953, Calistoga, CA 94516, in lieu of flowers.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the support that Rudy received during his long illness.
