Ruby Jewel Berna, 98, of Harlingen went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, May 7, 2010 at Retama Manor Nursing Home.
Ruby was born December 9, 1911 in Ravia, OK to Harv and Mamie Harlin. She was a member of the First Baptist Church - Combes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rolie Berna and sons, Harlin and Bobby Berna.
Survivors include her daughters, Gwen Sain and husband Blake of Harlingen, Judy Seay and husband Harry of Crawford, Iona Keen of New Caney; daughter-in-law Phylis Berna of Tishomingo, OK; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 9, 2010 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held Monday, May 10, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Harlingen-Combes Cemetery.
The family request that memorial contribution be made to the First Baptist Church-Combes, P.O. Box 598, Combes, Texas 78535.
