Rosalinda (Garza) Garcia

Rosalinda Garcia passed peacefully from this life on April 5, 2021 and is together again with Luciano, her loving husband of 51 years who passed away March 2, 2021.

Rosalinda was born to the late Felipe and Inocente Garza on June 7, 1949 in Harlingen, Texas. She worked for Levi Strauss & Co. for 22 years until her retirement.

In her leisure time, Rosalinda enjoyed shopping, reading, and dancing.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Rosalinda was preceded in death by her husband, Luciano Garcia; her parents, Felipe and Inocente Garza; and brother, Robert Garza.

Left to treasure Rosalinda’s memory are her children, Brandon (Marissa) Garcia and Melissa (Ernesto) Martinez; 6 grandchildren; siblings, Benito (Frances) Garza, Linda Renteria, Felipe (Mary) Garza, Jr., Alicia Celis, Filomeno (Virginia) Garza, Celina Escamilla, Raul Garza; and her beloved dog, Lucky.

A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7 o’clock on Saturday evening. (Click the link below to view the recitation of the Holy Rosary via live-stream.)
