Ronnie Ray Printy, 47, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at his residence in Harlingen.
Ronnie was born on October 2, 1959 in Groves, Texas to Richard and Kay Printy. Ronnie graduated from Harlingen High School in 1978 and joined the United States Navy shortly after where he was Honorably discharged in 1983.
Ronnie was a proud member of the South Texas Umpires Association, Co-Founder of the North of the Border Umpire Clinics and active with Pony Baseball.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Arlene Printy; daughter, Morgan Printy; parents, Richard and Kay Printy; siblings, Laura Pastorella, Doug Printy and Darrin Printy; nephews and nieces, R.J. Pastorella, Jordin Pastorella, MacKenzie Printy and Preston Printy.
A memorial celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, 3:00 P.M., Saturday, March 3, 2007 with Frank Dudley officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations may be made to the North of the Border Umpire Clinics, 1642 Sam Houston, Harlingen, TX 78550.
