Rogerio “Sonny” Esparza, Jr., 59, went home to be with the Lord on November 4, 2016 at University Hospital in San Antonio.
Sonny was born June 22, 1957 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Rogerio Esparza Sr. and Esther Espinoza Esparza. He enjoyed praising the Lord at Lifeline Heart of Worship Church in Harlingen.
He is survived by his father, Rogerio Esparza, Sr. daughter, Sabrina Sonia Esparza; brothers, Daniel Davila, Raul Esparza, Tito Esparza, and Richard Esparza, and sister, Mary Alice Crabtree.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016, at 10 a.m., at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home with Pastor Sessia Wyche III officiating. Burial will follow at Ashland Memorial Park in Harlingen.
He will be greatly missed by his pride and joy his daughter, Sabrina.
