Rodolfo Longoria

Rodolfo Longoria Sr., age 73, peacefully passed away on January 5, 2025, in Olmito, Texas. He was born on October 26, 1951, in San Benito, Texas, to Yrineo and Angelita Longoria. 

Rodolfo dedicated over 50 years to a distinguished career as a truck driver, proudly holding a Commercial Driver’s License. He was a baptized member of the Catholic faith and served as an altar boy in his youth. In his leisure time, Rodolfo found joy in fishing, hunting, and spending quality moments with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Yrineo and Angelita Longoria; his sister, Ernestina Longoria; his son, Bobby Vallejo; his sister, Angelita “Angie” Longoria; his brother, Ruben Longoria; and his sister, Blanca Abalos.

Rodolfo is survived by his loving wife, Maria Del Carmen Vallejo Longoria; his children, Erica Jacquez (Ernest) and Rodolfo “Rudy” Longoria (Emily); his grandchildren, Nilsa M. Salinas, Victoria M. Longoria, Liliana Longoria, Juliandra K. Longoria, Kyler G. Jacquez, and Mila B. Jacquez, along with four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Yrineo Longoria Jr. (Gloria), Nellie Castillo (Eleazar), Maria “Nega” Cruz (Manuel), Melissa Ortega (†Frank), and Daniel Longoria (Rachael).

The Longoria family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in the name of Rodolfo “Tita” Longoria, Sr. to Sunshine Haven, Inc., 7105 W. Lakeside Blvd, Olmito, TX 78575.
