Roberto C Diaz, Jr.

Roberto Crescencio “Bob” Diaz, Jr., age 67, passed away on March 16, 2025, in Richardson, Texas. He was born to Roberto C. and Alicia Solis Diaz on October 21, 1957, in Harlingen, Texas.

Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and he worked in the security industry for almost forty years.

He was an avid sports enthusiast who enjoyed watching games on television and attending sporting events in person. His favorite teams were the Houston Texans, the Houston Astros, and the Texas Rangers.

Bob also enjoyed several hobbies. He loved bowling, taking pictures of family and friends, and shopping for the latest tech devices.

Bob was preceded in death by his loving parents, Roberto and Alicia S. Diaz, and his beloved son, Robert Alexander Diaz III.

Left to treasure his memory are his wife, Graciela Ramos; sisters, Rozie Diaz and Becky (Omar) Hernandez; brothers, Ron (Analiza) Diaz and Rudy (Melissa) Diaz; and cherished nephews and nieces.

The Diaz family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. There will be a prayer service on Tuesday evening at 7 o’clock. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Following the service, Bob will be laid to rest with full military honors at Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are A.J. Cestero, Jose Angel Guerra, Jose Angel Guerra Jr., Omar Hernandez, Albert Mosqueda, and Noel Solis III.
