Robert “Bob” Anderson, age 83, passed to his heavenly reward on February 13, 2021. Today, he is pain-free with joy overflowing as he stands in awe before the One who welcomed him home, his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
He began a successful career in Law Enforcement in 1961 as a Harlingen City Police Officer culminating with his retirement from the U.S. Marshals Service in 1983.
Following retirement, Bob served as a Security Supervisor in the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, as well as many other endeavors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ola Anderson, and brother, Woody Anderson.
Bob is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Wick Anderson; sons, Robert, Jr. (Linda), Danny (Kimberly), Timothy, and their families including 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Anita Keyes; brother, Philip Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Rio Hondo Baptist Church on February 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
