Robert Dale Meyer, 59, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at his residence.
Robert was born March 29, 1948 in Harlingen, Texas to Paul R. and Gladys Meyer.
He was a beloved husband, father and friend. Robert read many books and brought the spirit of Santa to everyone he knew. He was a 1966 Rio Hondo High School graduate. Robert graduated from Pan American University in Edinburg, TX in 1970 with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Biology.
During his employment with the U.S.D.A. / A.R.S. he received many awards and job related accomplishments. His hobbies were reading, chess, collecting comic books, and acquiring knowledge and sharing with others.
He was preceded death by his parents Paul and Gladys Meyers and one brother, Thomas Davis.
Robert is survived by his wife Linda Meyer; children, Scott Morton Jr., Presley Lindermann, Krystian Meyer, grandchildren, Hunter, Katie, Claudia Lindemann; brother, Paul A. Meyer; and friends, Larry Pelleck and John & Terri Owens.
No services will be held.
