Robert Franklin Meili, 82, passed away November 21, 2015 in Harlingen, Texas. Robert was born on March 20, 1933 in Winona, MN to Arthur Meili and May Rumstick Achilles. He graduated from the Brown Institute and was employed as an engineer for Herff Jones. Robert married Sharon Patricia Ellis. He was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church. Robert was “Mr. Fix-It”, an avid fisherman and a Winter Texan.
He is survived by his special friend Shirley Maxwell, children, Susan Meili and Mark Meili and wife Tara; daughter-in-law, Cathy Meili; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Meili; father, Arthur Meili; mother, May Achilles; step-father, Fred Achilles; son Michael Meili; and brother, LeRoy Meili.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 27, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault, MN with a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
