In memory of devoted husband, father, and friend Robert Junior Darrah “Red Bob”, a native of West Virginia and resident at Fun-n-Sun Resort in San Benito, Texas, who passed away April 1, 2014 at the age of 75 after a long battle with illness.
Robert is survived by his wife Frankie Darrah; son, Robert K. Darrah; daughter Carol Zaladziejewski; daughter, Stephanie Cunningham. In addition, he is survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Robert has 1 sister, Barbara Wright from Sardis Ohio.
Robert was preceded in death by his son, Bryan Dean Darrah, who passed away March 16, 1984 at the age of 21.
Robert was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force as an Air Craft Mechanic.
Robert was and officer in the National Campers and Hikers Association and Weir Happy Wheels Chapter. He also performed as a clown for these organizations.
Robert worked for Weirton Steel as a Mill Right in the tin mill where he retired.
Robert enjoyed camping, traveling and the outdoors. Mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family always came first.
