Rita Prechel, 89, passed away August 6, 2008, after a long illness. Rita was born in Spencer, Iowa on July 15, 1919 to Albert and Rose Prechel.
Rita is survived by her brother, Tom (wife Jean), two nephews Mike (wife Marcia) and Jim (wife Bethany), plus grandniece Megan Prechel and grandnephew Mathew Prechel.
She was preceded in death by brothers James, George, and Albert.
Rita was a loving and close member of the family who always placed the needs of others before here own.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2008 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
A special thanks to the management and staff at Angelcare for the loving care given to Rita over the past two years.
