Rick Fetters

Rick Fetters, beloved husband, father, grandpa, Vietnam veteran, and avid golfer, passed away on August 1st, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on August 24th, 1946, Rick led a life marked by love, adventure, and dedication.

Rick is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Cheryl Fetters, whom he cherished deeply. Together, they raised two sons, Doug and Mike Fetters, who brought immense joy to his life. Rick was a loving grandfather to his three grandchildren, Jack, Andy, and Kate Fetters, who were the light of his later years.

A veteran of the Vietnam War, Rick served his country with honor and courage. His commitment to duty and service was a cornerstone of his character.

Rick had a passion for life that was reflected in his hobbies. He found great joy on the golf course, where he spent countless hours perfecting his game and sharing laughter with friends. Fishing was another love of his, finding solace and peace in the quiet moments by the water. His adventurous spirit led him to explore new places through travel, creating lasting memories with Cheryl along the way. He recently stated he had visited every place on earth he ever wanted to travel. Bucket list completed. 

Rick Fetters will be remembered for his commitment to his family, his unwavering love for Cheryl, and living life “his” way. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
