Ricardo "Rick" Rosenbaum

Mr. Ricardo “Rick” Rosenbaum, 66, of San Benito went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 11, 2024. Rick was born on January 24th, 1958.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents Sotero and Lazara Rosenbaum, his two brothers Martin and Rigoberto Rosenbaum, and brother in law Alfonso Maldonado and great-nephew Joshua Zuniga Jr.

He leaves behind his brothers, Jose Luis (Diana) Rosenbaum, Joe (Lily) Rosenbaum , Sotero Jr. (Irma) Rosenbaum, Beto (Dalia) Rosenbaum, Rene (Susana) Rosenbaum; sisters, Blanca (Leopoldo) Garcia, Nahela (Alfonso+) Maldonado, Janie (Santiago) Casares, Mari (James) Franklin, Carmen (Ino) Hernandez, along with over forty nieces and nephews that loved him very much.

Rick was employed with Gorges Meats, Inc. and Cornett Construction for many years. He was hardworking and enjoyed his time off watching the Dallas Cowboy’s games with his family and friends. Rick also enjoyed listening to music and often shared a song or two.

Funeral services are under the direction of Buck Ashcraft San Benito. The family will be having public visitations on Friday, March 15th from 1 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Saint Ignatius Catholic Church in El Ranchito, Tx.  Interment will follow at the Garcia Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Leroy Hernandez, Jon Rosenbaum, Jordan Rodriguez, Andres Garcia, Jose Alfonso Maldonado, AJ Franklin, Zachery Rosenbaum, John Rosenbaum, and Jesse Casarez.

Rick will be truly missed by his beloved family as he always blessed us with his peace sign.
