San Benito, TX –Ricarda Garcia, was called to be with our lord and savior on Sunday, the 20th of October 2016. Born on the 3rd of April 1927 in San Benito,Texas to her parents Catarino Saavedra and Blasa Hernandez Saavedra.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents, husband Juan Garcia, brother Roberto Saavedra, sister Maria Cortez, niece Rosalva Hernandez.
Survivors include her loving children Rosalinda Garcia and Juan Garcia Jr., and Emelda (Robert) Sweeney, her brother Modesto (Chelo) Saavedra , sister Maria (Antonio ) Vasquez, nieces Elida (Joe) Lane, Minerva Morrison, nephew Danny (Jesse) Hernandez and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, the 21st of October 2016, beginning at 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 p.m. Friday within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel, 1400 West Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.
Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, the 22nd of October 2016, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow to San Benito City Cemetery.
