Ret. Col. David E. Stockton

Ret. Col. U.S.Air Force, David E. Stockton, 82, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Retama Manor Nursing Home in Harlingen, TX.
David was born in Shreveport, LA on November 2, 1924 to Orville and Harriett Stockton. He had resided in Laguna Vista, TX for the past 3 years moving here from Sun City, TX.
David was a career military Pilot in the United States Air Force serving for over 30 years until his retirement in 1973. He served during WW II, the Korean War and the Vietnam conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Stockton; sons, Rex, David, Gilbert and Gordon Stockton; step-children, Suzanne Brady, David Harrison, Michael Harrison, Lynn Harrison, Eileen Hampton and Dianne Daley; brother, Ralph Stockton and numerous grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, 10 AM, Thursday, February 8, 2007. Inurnment with Full Military Honors will be held at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mision, TX, 2 PM, Thursday, February 8, 2007.
The family request that those desiring to do so may make memorial donations to the charity of choice.
