Randi Jean Messick, 18, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at her residence.
Randi was born February 21, 1992 in Harlingen, Texas to Randall and Rose Messick. She graduated with the class of 2010 from Harlingen High School South and was currently a student at TSTC. While at Harlingen High School South, Randi played volleyball and belonged to Fellowship Christian Athletes. She enjoyed writing poetry and playing volleyball and basketball.
Randi is survived by her parents, Randall and Rose Messick; siblings, Sean Randall, Darren and Shelly; maternal grandparents, Leonardo and Maria Sanchez and family; and paternal grandmother, Jean Messick and family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 27 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, 710 Ed Carey Dr., Harlingen, Texas.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 28, 10 a.m., at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home with Chaplain Joe Perez officiating. Interment will follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park, 26873 N. White Ranch Rd, La Feria, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Sean Randall Messick, Andrew Sanchez, Nicholas Sanchez, Angel Flores, C J Arellano, and Logan Brown.
