Ramiro Ramon, Jr., 66, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Sunshine Haven in Olmito.
Ramiro was born November 21, 1941 in Rio Grande City, Texas to Ramiro Ramon, Sr. and Manuela Garza Ramon. He enjoyed working his Import & Export Company from Mexico specializing with watermelon and other produce. He also enjoyed knowing that his produce was shipped worldwide.
Ramiro was preceded in death by his father, Ramiro Ramon, Sr.
He is survived by his children, Eli Ivan Ramon, Cathie Soliz , Ramiro Ramon III, Joseph Ramon and Mary Dhuy; four grandchildren, Andy Ramon, Marina Ramon, Bella Ramon and Joshua Soliz; mother, Manuela G. Ramon; brothers, Jose Ramiro Ramon and Pablo Ramon; and sisters, Ida Stacy, Diolinda Pajak and Janie Gonzalez.
Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 5 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
