Raquel A. (Rachel) Cavazos, 60, passed away December 31, 2017 in Harlingen, Texas. Rachel was born on January 27, 1957 to Manuel & Martina Cavazos in San Benito, Texas.
Rachel is preceded in death by her parents and a baby sister Velma Cavazos. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Debbie B. (Julian) Alcocer, Samantha Corona (Tito). Her beloved Grandchildren, Nick, Marco Jr., Damian, Grace and Lailha Marie and numerous nieces and nephews. Rachel is also survided by her brothers and sisters Ruben (Oralia) Cavazos, Minerva (Gilbert +) Gonzalez, Rosie (Luis) Cavazos, Johnny (Rosa) Cavazos, Tony (Betu) Cavazos and Joe (Mary Lou) Cavazos.
The family would like to thank Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen particularly the Emergency Room, Neuro ICU, CCU, all the staff in 2nd, 3rd and 6th floor. Valley View Primary Home Care, her dedicated Providers Juana, Lydia Guajardo and Irma Estrada, Windsor Atrium Rehab and La Hacienda.

Memorial services for Rachel are as follow, Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary being recited at 5:00 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Thurday, 10:00 a.m. January 4, 2018 at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
