San Benito, TX: Piedad Rios Guerrero, 85, of San Benito peacefully went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 1, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family.
Piedad enjoyed cooking, crafts, thrift sales, attending church and serving God.
She is preceded in death by her parents; 6 siblings; 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
Piedad is survived by her children, Estella Guerrero, Elena Arroyo, Esther Guzman, Ismael Guerrero, Elvia Perez, Candelario Guerrero, Jr., Ernesto Guerrero, Elida Leon, Efrain Guerrero, Martin Guerrero, Ricardo Guerrero, and Monika Guerrero; 61 grandchildren; 129 great grandchildren; and 47 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
Final viewing will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 8:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at San Benito Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow to VICC located at 2100 W. Expressway 83 in San Benito. Interment will follow to San Benito City Cemetery.
