Phyllis June Price Barnes, 83, passed away June 2, 2013. Phyllis was born March 12, 1930 in Lansing, MI to Basel Price and Dorothy Allen Price. She was a graduated of Portland High School in Portland, Michigan and married Elroy C. Barnes on May 20, 1950. Phyllis was an underwriter for auto owners insurance in Lansing, MI. She was a member of the Elks and the Tops.
Phyllis is survived by her sons, Dan (Terri Briggs) Barnes and Randy (Dal Onan) Barnes; grandchildren, Kris (Erin) Barnes, Alyson (Allen) Elliott, Kyle (Kaylei) Barnes, Denel (Doug) Carr, Justin Barnes and Beckie Raschke; great grandchildren, Addie Barnes, Koen Barnes, Cooper Elliott, Dillon Carr, Devin Carr, Payton Carr and Nolan Raschke. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elroy “Buzz” Barnes.
