Philip "Phil" J. Fox
July 3, 1933 — May 17, 2009
Philip J. Fox, age 75, of San Benito, Texas and Addison Township, Michigan, formerly of Mt. Clemens, Michigan, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009 in Harlingen, Texas, after a brief battle with cancer.
Phil was born July 3, 1933 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to Robert Fox and Margaretta (Haughton) Fox Moore. He graduated from Mt. Clemens High School in 1951. Phil was employed as a supervisor with GM for 27 years. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing and traveling.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gordon Fox, and his son, Paul.
He is survived by his loving wife Nancy; children, Steven (Michele) Fox of Oklahoma, Suzette (Jonathon) Alvord of Virginia, Sally (Robert) Bonetti, Cheryl (Carl, Jr.) Redinger, and Randy Fox all of Michigan; brother, Lawrence (Joan) Fox; sister-in-law, Maryann Fox; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Addison Oaks County Park, 1480 W. Romeo Rd., Leonard, MI on June 27, 2009 at 1 p.m.
