Petra Ramirez

Petra V. Ramirez passed away Sunday morning, April 1, 2018 at the age of 92.  She was born on January 22, 1926 in Rio Hondo to Juan Villarreal and Ines Diaz Villarreal.  She was retired, a homemaker, and a member of the Jehovah Witness.

Petra was preceded in death by her husband, Andres A. Ramirez; grandsons, Gabriel Ramirez and Joshua Ramirez; great-grandson, Aaron Suarez.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Anita R. Sanchez, Ofelia R. Garcia(+Ramon Garcia), Silverio Ramirez, Andres Ramirez Jr., Ines Alvarez (+Manuel Alvarez); fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren.

Petra's family will be receiving friends and relatives on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at San Benito Funeral Home from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 PM.

Her family would like to share their gratitude to the staff at Devita Dialysis and Kindred Heart Hospice.
