Pedro Herrera

Pedro Herrera 92 passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 24, 2020.  He was born on September 26, 1927, in San Carlos Tamaulipas, Mexico to Delfino & Elisa de la Fuente Herrera. He retired from construction after 42 years.

Pedro was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings: Oscar Herrera, Roberto Herrera, Armando Herrera, Santos Herrera, and Francisca Ybarra.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Paula Herrera, his children: George (Connie) Herrera, Geneva (Jose+) Gacet, Elena (Arnold) Salazar, Maricela (Rafael) Urbina, Cristina (Arturo) Gutierrez, Janie (Naun) Juarez, Arnold (Rosana) Herrera, Robert (Beatrice) Herrera, Peter (Evan) Herrera, Eduardo Herrera, and David Herrera. Grandchildren: Carolina Herrera, Magdalena Salazar, Vivian and Janey Gacet, Rafael Urbina Jr., Aaron Urbina, Yara U. Herrera, Jaime Juarez, Amanda Zavala, Arnoldo JR. Herrera, Micaela Herrera, Nicolas Herrera, Daniel Herrera, Vivon Herrera, Deandra Herrera, 11 great-grandchildren and one brother Delfino Herrera.

We would like to thank the various professionals like Dr. Juan Maldonado-primary, Dr. Juan Garza-heart specialist, and nurses at Hospice Kindred like Brian Smith, Lisa, and Albert who had so much patience with him when bathing and such.

Due to our current health conditions in our community and government regulations for small gatherings, family and guests will only be allowed 10 guests at a time.

Visitation will be Friday, March 27, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Mont Meta Memorial Park

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Aaron Urbina, Jaime Juarez, Arnoldo Herrera, Jr., Daniel Herrera, David Herrera, and Eduardo Herrera
