Pauline Farrar Jones Bulen was born October 18, 1930 in Mineola, TX to Marvin and Lucille Jones and passed away Monday, July 21, 2014 in Palm Valley, TX.
She married George Bulen and they had four children, Bruce, Linda and twins Barry and Larry. Pauline graduated from Hardin Simmons University with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and East Texas State University with a Master degree in Library Science. She worked for 8 years as a teacher, for 25 years as a school librarian and briefly as a nursing home administrator. She enjoyed traveling, meeting people and seeing nature, especially birds.
Pauline is survived by 3 of her 4 children Linda, Barry and Larry Bulen. Her oldest son Bruce passed away in October 2013.
She was loved by family and friends and will be missed very much.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home from 2 pm to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2014.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
